We're a panel of true crime and crime fiction writers who bring our unique experiences and points of view to our discussions of all things crime pop-culture.

REBECCA LAVOIE

Rebecca is Digital Director at New Hampshire Public Radio where she oversees the station's online news and content. She earned her radio chops as Senior Producer of the program 'Word of Mouth,' and has worked with the team at Undisclosed as a production consultant.

KEVIN FLYNN

Kevin Flynn is an author, an award-winning former journalist and television reporter. His first book was Wicked Intentions, about New Hampshire serial Killer Sheila LaBarre. Kevin hosts "...These Are Their Stories," the Law & Order podcast.

LARA BRICKER

Lara Bricker is a freelance writer living in Exeter, New Hampshire, with over a decade of experience writing and reporting on crime and justice issues. Lara is the author of the true crime hit Lie after Lie: The True Story of a Master of Deception, Betrayal, and Murder. You can also get a wiff of her wit and wisdom in the book How Do You Milk a Moose Anyway?

TOBY BALL

Toby Ball was born in Washington, DC, grew up in Syracuse, NY, and attended Trinity College (CT). He has had stints in journalism (Congressional Quarterly), education (one memorable year as a high school social studies teacher), and nonprofits (the Carbon Coalition among others). Toby is the author of the widely acclaimed City Trilogy, set in in a dystopian 1930s America. His books include The Vaults, Scorch City, and Invisible Streets.

It all began when Rebecca decided her basement studio needed to be a part of something bigger, something with a name. A few months later, that name is actually a thing.

Partners in Crime Media produces original podcast content including Crime Writers On. We also provide editorial consultation, audio production, editing services to other podcasts, including Undisclosed and Addendum with Jon Cryer.

Now, PICM is expanding our little family by creating a network of independently-produced podcasts that we hope to develop, help market, and connect with potential sponsors. The first show to join our tiny media empire is DeathCast, a podcast about Death and all its forms produced by Kelsey Erickson. We've also launched These Are Their Stories: The Law & Order Podcast and HGTV & Me.
